New Year, New Venture Fellows

Meet Charles, Leo, and Warren!

New Year, New Venture Fellows

We’re excited to have three Venture Fellows joining us at Dynamo. Please give Charles, Leo, and Warren a warm welcome. One thing we are testing this go-around is to offer our program to full-time students as we continue to mature as a firm. We’re grateful for Charles’ willingness to go on that journey with us in refining and improving our program.

As Fellows, they will be involved in all aspects of the venture investment and fund management process. This trio will source startups, take meetings with Partners, and research markets, among other things.

About Charles

Charles is currently a Junior at Carnegie Mellon University where he studies Behavioral Economics, Policy, and Organizations. Charles has prior experience working with startups on their long-term communications strategy. He is passionate about helping organizations leverage their strengths in order to solve complex problems.

In his free time, Charles enjoys listening to podcasts with topics ranging from sports analytics to psychology. He loves meeting new people and hearing what they're passionate about. Send him a note at to talk about your startup!

About Leo

Leo is an international Schreyer Scholar at Penn State focusing on Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Chinese. He’s passionate about the intersection of technology and supply chains, and finance – particularly in emerging markets. Leo is a Partner at Dorm Room Fund, leads Happy Valley VC where students can learn about startups and VC, and on the leadership committee of the College Ventures Network. During his studies, Leo worked at Fitted Laundry, a startup rethinking consignment and also interned with Bank of America’s Global Emerging Markets & LatAm Sales team.

In his free time Leo enjoys soccer and rowing having represented his home country, Panama in international competition. Send him a note at to chat about your company and experience his give-first style.

About Warren

Originally from Indonesia, Warren recently graduated from the University of Kansas where he studied Computer Science. While at KU, Warren founded and led the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers, which now holds over 150 members. He just wrapped up his internship with the Chick-fil-A New Ventures team, where he built strategic partnerships with startups and launched their technology across the restaurant ecosystem. Before that, he held roles as an Analyst at the University Venture Fund Crossroads, a Software Engineer Intern at DMSi Software, and was a Founding Engineer of a startup. From these experiences, he learned the value of choosing great partners to work with and the importance of caring for them.

In his free time, Warren enjoys exploring cultures through food, playing table tennis, experimenting on a new idea, and cheering on his favorite football (or soccer) team, Arsenal FC. Get in touch with him at to learn how he can support you in your startup journey.

The Dynamo Venture Fellows Program is 6 months long and provides college graduates with exposure to startups, supply chain and mobility, and the venture capital ecosystem. Fellows are exposed to every aspect of venture capital including but not limited to sourcing, research, decision making, and post-investment support. We will work with the Fellows to find a role post-program in venture capital, startups, or whatever their interest might be. We believe it’s a unique way to support the development of the ecosystem and are excited to improve the program in the coming months. If you’re interested in the program, send us a note to
