Founders Camp is Back in 2021

Returning to the event circuit to help supply chain founders build and sell

Founders Camp is Back in 2021

As we emerge from COVID-19 restrictions, we’re happy to announce that Founders Camp is back! This year, we are grateful to have returning sponsors Chick-fil-A, Schneider National, and FreightWaves. We are also proud to announce that Lineage Logistics, the world’s largest refrigerated warehousing company is also supporting the program as a sponsor this year. Further, we want to thank our service provider sponsors, EPB and Market Street Partners.

Founders Camp is extra special this year because it will happen alongside FreightWaves’ F3: the Future of Freight Festival which will bring hundreds of corporate executives, founders, and investors together to discuss supply chain technology. Founders Camp will span three days where founders will be able to attend the F3 Festival and participate in business development meetings with executives from 20 different legacy corporations. Camp draws on Chattanooga’s rich heritage and expertise as the capital for supply chain technology — referred to as Freight Alley — as well as an epicenter for outdoor culture. The camp will begin the morning of Monday 11/8 and go through to 11/10 in Chattanooga, TN. Apply for an invite.

Program Overview

If you are a startup in supply chain with a strong founding team and early traction, this is for you. Startups that are looking to raise a seed or series A round will benefit from the programming at the F3 Festival as well as introductions to potential customers and partners through camp. We also encourage international startups who might be interested in expansion into the US to apply. We do not take equity or ask for a program fee to participate.

Benefits Of Participation

Founders will have access and opportunity to work with and learn from a global network of both founders and corporates who bring their own experience and resources.

"There is no better way to describe Founders Camp other than ‘life changing.’ It would have taken me years to access and build relationships with the people Dynamo introduced me to. I got a mentor, investor, and customers from participating. If you want to build a great company in the supply chain - step one is to attend Founders Camp."

Guillermo Garcia, CEO and Co-founder, Smarthop

Gain valuable perspective and build a network at FreightWaves F3. We recognize that building a startup is challenging and Founders Camp was created to be a forum for strategic perspective and actionable advice. This year, in lieu of our traditional workshops and discussions, every startup attendee gets free access to F3 sessions led by proven leaders across supply chain technology, as they discuss the key factors impacting freight markets and review the latest trends pushing our industry forward.

Introductions to potential customers and partners from high growth SMEs to Fortune 500 organizations. The best founders recognize there’s no better dollar than a customer’s dollar — and we agree. Founders will have face-to-face meetings with both mid-sized and large businesses to gain feedback on their product and discuss business development opportunities. In prior years, startups end up leaving our program with a multi-million dollar pipeline of potential customers and partners.

Fundraising Advice. The Dynamo team will offer advice and perspective on fundraising strategy for founders looking to raise seed or Series A rounds. We are also happy to make post-program introductions to co-investors where appropriate.

Support From Across The Ecosystem

We are proud to have the on-going support of Chick-fil-a, the nation’s leading fast food chain who are famous for their chicken sandwiches. Few may understand the role of supply chain, technology, and innovation in delivering an amazing product and best-in-class customer experiences. Also rejoining as a sponsor is Schneider National, a leading provider of final mile, truckload, intermodal and logistics services. Schneider National is committed to working with startups across its portfolio of offerings to provide a better freight experience for their customers.

We also have the support of Lineage Logistics, the world largest cold warehouser. Sudarsan and his team have been long-time friends of Dynamo and participants of Founders Camp since its inception.

“We’ve attended Dynamo’s Founders Camp since the start and applaud their leadership in supply chain technology. Efforts like Founders Camp are essential in moving the ecosystem into the digital age.”

Sudarsan Thattai, CIO, Lineage Logistics

A big thank you to EPB and Market Street Partners for their on-going support of this program.

As previously mentioned, we are excited to partner with our cross-town friends, FreightWaves to make F3 accessible to all founders. F3 will be engaging with live demonstrations, enabling the innovators a chance to present their offerings in front of a crowd of the most powerful names in freight. F3 will continue FreightWaves’ tradition as the hottest FreightTech conference in the world, where industry leaders discuss the key factors impacting freight markets and review the latest trends pushing our industry forward.

We will continue to announce new corporate participants so please continue to visit our website regularly. Applications close on 8/15 at 11:59 PM PT with invitations extended on 9/30. Apply here. Please direct questions and inquiries to Katie Kent at
